When we found out we were having another boy, I won't lie, I was a little sad (every girl wants a daughter). Now, I wouldn't have it any other way! Having these two at 21 months apart means there will always be a built in friend or foe. Right now, they are nothing but infatuated with each other! Grady wants to be near Daven at all times and laughs every time he comes in to the room. Daven is equally obsessed and loves to wake up the baby, talk to him, bring him toys (Grady is only allowed to have the same "babies" as D - he now has a "ruff ruff", "baby roar", "baby hop", and panda), etc. I can't get enough of "hi baby" when Grady and I wake the sleeping giant from his slumber...thus far his little brother is the only one he wakes up smiling for!!

God sure did know what he was doing when he gave me another son because, I love my dirty, stinky, mommy obsessed, SWEET, SWEET BOYS!

Late Easter post

We might have forgotten St. Patty's day pictures, but we did not forget the Easter Bunny!! Grady didn't think much of the bunny, but big brother wanted NOTHING to do with him!! P.S. Bunny was SUPER creepy this year...I think we're good with Bunny/character pictures...until Santa!

A side by side shot...D at 4 months and G at 5 months!

A few late happenings...

SO, I'm a terrible parent and have been neglecting updates on our sweet Grady boy! Seriously...the few sweet minutes of solace I get are usually spent cleaning...although I'd rather be doing this or attempting to like Jillian only works if you do it more than once a week! :)

G-man is growng by leaps and bounds! He now knows how to roll back and forth, sit up almost unassisted, & jibber jabber ALL day long! He and D LOVE to make this high pitched screech at each other...Nathan and I want to crawl in a hole when they do it, but hey, at least they like each other!

Without further adieu, here are a BUNCH of videos of Grady doing his thang!

We need a gate...he rolls EVERYWHERE!

Grady Rolling!

This's ear piercing...especially when big brother joins in!

Grady conquers the Jumperoo!

Please pardon the full frontal...this was just too funny to ignore!

He just LOVES to hear himself talk!

Happy Easter!

“The story of Easter is the story of God's wonderful window of divine surprise.”

Happiest of Easter's family and friends! May your day be filled with love, selfless-ness, and chocolate bunnies!

We got the go ahead at 4 months to try solids...G did great and now wants EVERYTHING you're eating! This kid is definitely our NFL linebacker!

He's a fan of applesauce, sweet potatoes, carrots, and homemade bananas - the store bought bananas and peas make him gag! I wasn't diligent at first to make his like I did D, but once we got used to feeding him food three times a day, it became A LOT easier to make a big batch and separate for the week...we are currently stuck with homemade applesauce and sweet potatoes! My smoothies are also quite a treat for him and he LOVES yogurt...just like big brother!

Pictures upon pictures...

This thing has really taken a back seat to life! It's quite hectic with two, two and laundry takes up most of my free time! But, the only thing that truly matters is the pictures, so here is a little photo dump of our life these days!
